Gone are the days !!!

Everyone might have read a forward with the title "Gone are the days !!!". When i read this for the first time nothing happens, wen i read it again after few days, a movie starts in front on mi eye which i could see and with the artist whom i know.

"When the school reopened in June,
And we settled in our new desks and benches!"

-->Used to go early if its the first day of the academic yr, in order to book/get some places in 2-3 benches for friends, with whom i like to spend the next one year.

"We learned writing with slates and pencils, and
Progressed To fountain pens and ball pens and then Micro tips!
When we began drawing with crayons and
evolved to Color pencils and finally sketch pens!
When we started calculating first with tables and
then with Clarke's tables and advanced to
Calculators and computers!"

--> Was taught what evolution is at the kindergarten, but too early to understand.

"Gone are the days Of tenth and twelfth standards, when
We Spent almost the whole year writing revision tests!"

--> Especially twelfth standard, chancae ellai !

As my movie was scrolling in its own panache and with the lips formin an arc from left eye-right eye, read the follg lines:

"Gone are the days When we used to talk for
hours with our friends!"

--> Second year @ college was awesome wid friends of both forms. was known for something called "Kadalai" with a person. Can see me roamin in the corridors of hostel in free time.

"Gone are the days
When we played games on the road!
Now we Code on the road with laptop!"

"When we sat to chat with Friends on grounds!
Now we chat in chat rooms.....!"

--> Gtalk and Orkut helps me to say "Hi /Machi !/Machi yepadi erukae !!! " to guys atleast once in 3 months :-)

"Gone are the days
Where we studied just to pass!
Now we study to save our job!"

"Where we had no money in our pockets and still fun filled on our hearts!!
Now we have the ATM as well as credit card but with an empty heart!!"

"Gone are the days
But not the memories, which will be Lingering in our hearts for ever and ever and
Ever and ever and ever... "

But whatever time/days it maybe, I proudly says that "Naan therinda Mataen !!!" i.e, i'm mischievous. Yeah !!!

Note: In order to stop rollin the film in ur eye and for your lips to get parted, I need to add the last line. (which indeed is not true :P )
