I think by this time, everyone might have seen the proof for "0=1" ("zero equals one"). If not here is the proof to amaze you !!!

Let a=b (a≠b≠0 )

a² = a*a=ab

a²- b² = ab- b².

=>(a+b)(a-b)=(a-b)b

a+ b = b //cancelling (a-b) on both sides

As a = b => 2 b = b.

i.e., 2=1 //cancelling b on both sides

subtract 1 from both sides,

=>1=0

Were you amazed on seeing this proof for the first time. I was wondered with this proof for the first time. So when i was thinking about it, I could see a misunderstanding in the concept.

You could see a comment like "//cancelling (a-b) on both sides". Actually what does this cancelling on both sides mean ??? Its nothing but dividing on both sides. If both LHS and RHS contains some common terms, when on division by the same term on both sides yeilds the removal of those terms (which sometime we call as cancelling). So when you consider here, (a-b) is common. (a-b) equals to zero as a=b. So we cannot "divide anything by zero" to yeild a value apart from infinity. So dis proof is ABSURD !!!

Here is another proof to prove 1=0 through integration.

∫ (1/x) dx

Perform integration by parts: let

u = 1/x , dv = dx

du = -1/x2 dx , v = x

∫ (1/x) dx = (1/x)*x - ∫ x (-1/x2) dx

= 1 + ∫ (1/x) dx

which implies that 0 = 1

I'm damn sure that this proof is also wrong. Just figuring out whats wrong in it !!! Can you help me out if u could spot the mistake ???

And the last one is 0!(zero factorial). I was thought in the school days as "performing no multiplication is equivalent to multiplying by one ". But now i could interpret as

n! = (n-1)! x n

Rearranging:

(n-1)! = n!/n

when n=1:

0! = (1-1)! = 1!/1 = 1/1 = 1

Captian starring in "The Dark Knight".. How will it be ??

On one fine sunday (???)-noo noo noo, On one bomb-blast filled sunday(yeah !) went to the movie The Dark Kinght along wid anna, anni, raja and wid babu frnds. The film was kewl as expected. And in the break time, ciriminal mind started working and resulted in the invention "Captian starring in The Dark Knight". Captain means Tamilnadu captain, who keeps his right leg on the wall and giving spin kicks wid his left leg. By dis time you might have found out who d CAPTAIN is.. lol !

The film goes into the break when the clown got arrested. Am i right ??? [poor memory with respect to films !!!]. Now comes the captain..

Captain comes as a specially appointed officer to make enquiries wid clown. He started formal enquiry and soon he was raged by dat clown. So captain being tantalized by the Clown, started delivering spin kicks... Yeah d same spin kicks !!!! keeping right leg on d wall and spin kicking with d left leg (in tamil.. right lega sevuthula vechu, left leg-ala solti solti adicharu!!!!) till the clown admit that he was the one who smuggled armory into India for illegal activities and he was a terrorist.

Then he goes to d police officer and he acknowledged dem as, clown admitted his crime dat he smuggled armory and he was a terrorist. Atonce the police officer said to captain dat its not the case for which you was asked to come. Captain was shocked !!! So he started enquiring to the police...

Ques: Is this AVM studio ?

" I was acting in a Police subject film in Tamil nadu. Just came here for a walk and finding the set of a police station out here, i got mesmerised and entered into and acted. Captain was shocked to see the reach of his film !! Captain bow down his head as he do in "Chinna koundar film" and started walking back with a background music as "thalae-laa-lala-laaaa la" ..

Heard of skeleton scanning ?

The types of scanning that i'm aware of are finger print, retina and stuffs like that. While i'm surfing i could find an interesting piece of scrap with the title " The Authorities Have Your Skeleton On File" and got a photo of a skeleton beneath. The topic seemed to be weird and studied further. I could find something interesting. The era of scannin and catching terroists throu finger prints, retina had over. The new era started with the skeleton scanning. It will be gr8 if one is identified thru skeleton.
Mi view is: the difference between two images should nil. We cannot have a threshold value for it, bcz we can match another person's skeleton instead of the original skeleton. So i think this scannin method will not be boffo.

Yup, the proper noun that i'm talkin about is "GOOGLE". Nowadays, google turns to be an action of doin some search in www.google.com, rather than a name. We use google regularly or i can say as, if someone opens the browser there'll some piece of scrap like "www.google.com" atleast once in the address bar.Am i rite guys ???

When i peeped through wordweb for "google" the response dat i got was that google is a verb and also a noun. But when i hunted in google dictionary i can find google as a noun rather than a verb.

We say "google it!" which we mean is, use google to search , which indirectly refers to an action(verb). But when we consider other proper nouns we do not use in this sense, like "prabhu it!", "loosu it!", "pisasu it!","coimbatore it!". But consistent and exhaustive usage made me to think like this. So, now what do you say for google ?? Verb or Noun ? only option can be.

Everyone might have read a forward with the title "Gone are the days !!!". When i read this for the first time nothing happens, wen i read it again after few days, a movie starts in front on mi eye which i could see and with the artist whom i know.

"When the school reopened in June,
And we settled in our new desks and benches!"

-->Used to go early if its the first day of the academic yr, in order to book/get some places in 2-3 benches for friends, with whom i like to spend the next one year.

If so, have you ever tried adding ur name in d friends list ? If not try it...
In yahoo you can add your own messenger id in your friends list and u can chat to ur account from ur account itself, but not in the case of gtalk.
Do u know the reason for it ???

The following is the first ever article that i wrote... The article is for the magazine that was released during the college department function called Interface 2k7. The article is abt the visit of Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam to mi college for the valedictory function of the Golden jubilee celebration function of CIT. The article as follows:

It was Monday, 18th Dec, 2006. The day, one of the dreams of many young guns got its vision in CIT. Yes, GOLDEN JUBLIE celebration of CIT !!! It was the visit of our honorable beloved Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, President of India to our college for the valedictory function.

Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the czar of Indian science and technology, is the undisputed father of India's missile program. He has breathed life into ballistic missiles like the Agni and Prithvi, which put China and Pakistan well under India's missile range. His work led to the successful Pokhran-II nuclear tests in 1998, which reiterated India's position as a nuclear weapon state. Even at 71, he is indefatigable and dreams of making India into a technological superpower. More importantly, he is still capable of acting on it.

It was late evening when Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam visited the college. We were kept waiting for the months and months to meet the epic, Abdul Kalam. The stage was looking elegant with the presence of Prof P. R. Ramakrishnan(founder of this Institute), S.R.K. Prasad(Correspondent), Prabhu(),Dr. R.Prabhakar(Principal). When Kalam went to the stage, the stage looks much more graceful.

It was Kalam’s second visit to the college. Earlier he came in 2001, before taking up the charge of the first citizen of India. I visited your hostels and interacted with your students who received me with warmth and enthusiasm. I could see the dream in their eyes to contribute to the vision of a Developed India. I could see in them the future of the country that is bright and pure.”

Kalam used to share his ideas and goes for open talk when he addresses the gatherings of young guns. This day was no exception for this, as we, the students, were eagerly waiting for his topic. His topic was “Convergence of Technologies”. He started the speech with the greetings in TAMIL ! The key points in his speech were:

When Nano technology and ICT meet, integrated silicon electronics, photonics are born and it can be said that material convergence will happen. With material convergence and biotechnology linked, a new science called Intelligent Bioscience will be born which would lead to a disease free, happy and more intelligent human habitat with longevity and high human capabilities.
Convergence of ICT, aerospace and Nano technologies will emerge and revolutionize the aerospace industry and electronics leading to nano computing systems.
Bioinformatics: The convergence of bioscience and IT into Bioinformatics has given the thrust to researchers for genomics-based drug discovery and development. Bioinformatics data play a vital role and emerging as a business model for the medical and pharmaceutical sector.
Bio Suite: It incorporates the latest publicly known algorithms, as chosen by a panel of academic partners. It can be used by academic and R&D institutions, small and medium and large biotechnology companies.
Nano Technology: Molecular nano technology has enormous potential for future aerospace systems and health areas. Carbon Nano tubes is hoped that such materials could revolutionize electronic design and open the space frontier by radically lowering the cost of launch to orbit. Molecular switches and circuits along with nano cell will pave the way for the next generation computers.
Energy for future generations: The age of oil and natural gas would soon be over even within the next few decades. Hydrogen fuel and solar rays are the two modes to get clean power.

It was an inspiring speech for fifteen minutes that none of the soul present in that gathering would ever forget. It was clear from the speech that Kalam wants everyone to focus on World Knowledge Platform. Kalam was sure that CIT can definitely become a member of this World Knowledge Platform.

Unfortunately, we did not have an open talk because of the parameter time, to the President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. We were satisfied with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s speech but we will be even more satisfied if we had an open discussion.

Ford has joined hands with Microsoft to put Sync in its cars.

Ford car owners will soon have James Bond experience. You can check e-mails, download and listen to music online, and have a better navigation, without much fumbling with the buttons. Microsoft is putting its operating system in Ford cars.

What is dubbed as 'Sync' will power these features. The Bluetooth-based technology will make debut in two of Ford's models-Focus and Five Hundred series, in the year 2007. The companies will make official announcement of Sync at the Detroit auto show and the Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas in January 2007.

Starting with the two models, Ford will extend the technology by 2008 to other cars as well, according to reports.

Cars are getting smarter these days, most of the 'high-end' (if that is the proper word here) now come equipped with input jacks for iPods in certain 2007 models, including the Edge SUV.

For mi, the foremost thing comes to mi mind is "FREE ENCYCLOPEDIA". Do you agree ?
When i googled for "history of wikipedia", the first link that comes is " History of Wikipedia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ".When i read through the article, i came across the follog points:

Have you tried this one in your Windows XP ???

Create a folder called "Notepad" in ur desktop, then open an IE window and load a page.
Try to see the source code of the page that was currently loaded (choose view->source command). This problem occurred when i tried with IE that was available when we install the Windows XP.
But this was corrected in IE 7...

When we heard the name of the festival called "Deepavali, The festive of lights", 2 thing will flash in everyone’s tube light(mind...). They are the crackers and the Diwali movies. Now, the craze crackers gone down a bit, but the decreased craze in crackers shown a rise in interest among the people to see the film on its releasing day.

This year is not exception from this. Eight movies released in this Diwali. Vattaram, Vallavan, Vathiyar, E, Varalaru, Thalaimagan. Every year there will be a comedy movie will be releasing, this year is not far away from it. We got the file “Dharmapuri” . The real competition is Vallavan Vs Varalaru. In this diwali. Nayantara got her 3 movies released Vallavan(wid simbhu), E(wid jeeva) ,and Thalaimagan(wid sarath kumar).

My expectation list is:

I hope “Dharmapuri” will be a propaganda for his political party.
So let me see the film and give the reviews..
